A resume writing company of just one writer with fair prices. The writer used a colored creative design while as a CFO I’m expected to submit a resume with classic design, without bright blocks and fancy fonts. So I had to wait more until it’s revised.
A resume writer of this service encourages you to build your value through the powerful resume. I have been looking for an executive resume service when I stopped by this one. I had a couple of website to consider, however, most of them charged over $1000 for a single resume – that was just enormous! This site drew my attention by its good design, free samples to check and the detailed list of writer’s expertise. And the price became the turning point.
Pricing policy
The prices given on the site are approximate; however there is not a resume price among them. Cover letter is $85, and the executive bio is $195 and above. Frankly speaking, I would prefer knowing the amount I would have to pay in advance . Here I had to call the writer and we discussed around 5 minutes before she told me that my resume plus LinkedIn would cost $595.
Order details
Obviously, the process didn’t work through the site. So I had to email the old resume to the writer and pay using the details she provided. After the detailed review I noticed that the site also didn’t give information of how the entire process worked, so I had to ask the questions like “How the process works?” and “How soon will I get my package?” After I emailed my old resume, I was asked a couple of questions –we had a short phone conversation and the writer got down to work.
Level of support and writing
There’s no “support” on the site, however, writer’s contact info is available. However, you should note that she replies only in business hours. I received the package in six days. My first impression when I opened a resume was “Wow…that’s too much”. I asked the writer to change the design of my resume.
Conclusion
As for my LinkedIn profile, the writer promised to make it keyword-enriched. Maybe it was, but I still think the language was too sophisticated. The fixed copy of the resume was sent to me the next day. Then it looked good, but I couldn’t say I was happy with it. It’s too early to judge about the effectiveness as only one week have passed, but I’d recommend you to look for other service – it’s still quite expensive and the writer didn’t quite meet my expectations.
